As we move through July, Ozone continues to evolve with exciting new features and enhancements! The 1.2.30 update is about refining your Helm management, integrating key metrics, and boosting security. Whether you're deploying on Kubernetes, managing DORA metrics, or enhancing your security protocols, this release has something for you. New Features:
Enhanced Helm Management:
Our Helm functionality has received a major upgrade. You can effortlessly track all Helm release revisions, enabling easy rollbacks. The Ozone UI lets you view resources created by Helm releases, compare configurations, and access real-time logs and status updates. We've also simplified uninstalling releases and added the ability to edit or configure Helm releases directly from the UI.
AWS Marketplace Availability:
Exciting news! Ozone is also available on the AWS Marketplace. This addition will offer users a more convenient way to access and deploy Ozone, simplifying procurement and integration.
DORA Metrics Integration:
We've brought DORA metrics management directly into the cluster configure side panel. This integration aligns the DORA metrics setup with log management, ensuring a smoother and more cohesive configuration experience. This change ensures a smoother setup experience and eliminates issues associated with configuring DORA metrics outside the cluster.
New Integrations:
Added support for k6 adhoc registry and Bitbucket Data Center integration, enhancing performance testing and repository management within enterprise environments.
Enhancements:
Improved Security and Backup features: We’ve added support for account data Git backups and introduced new security providers, including Prisma Cloud and Clair, to bolster our security measures.
Advanced Deployment Strategies: We've implemented blue-green and canary deployment strategies and rollback capabilities to offer more flexible and reliable release processes.
Improved Metrics and Monitoring: New metrics capabilities have been integrated, including Prom QL autosuggest, and we've enhanced Grafana and Dynatrace log handling for better monitoring and insights.
Security and Compliance Enhancements: We've strengthened our security posture with new tasks such as Skopeo image signing and Tenable penetration testing, ensuring robust system security and compliance.
