# Managing Notifications

Notification providers are services or protocols that facilitate the sending and receiving of notifications or messages between applications or users. They play a crucial role in enabling real-time communication, alerts, and updates across various platforms.

**Pre-requisites:**

For Personal Access Token permissions and guidelines, follow the below link accordingly

**Slack**

* bot token and TeamID

**SMTP**

* Username
* Password
* Sender Email for the provider
* Host
* Port

**Microsoft Teams**

* webhook URL

**Steps:**

1. Click on the subcategory **Notification** to create a notification integration, as shown below

2. The user will be able to see the supported integrations, on which you can select the provider of your choice from the list .
