Running a Release

To run a release, select “Releases” from the left side-bar where all the previous release runs are visible.

a. Initiate release run

Click on the “Initiate Release Run” button. Select the release template to be run and enter the run parameters like the repo branch, image tag, deployment name, namespace, container name, etc.

Once you click on run, the release run becomes visible in the release runs screen. Click on view to see the release run details, metrics, and logs.

b. Release run view

The run view shows the various stages and their status of execution.

You can toggle between the visual and YAML view for the release details. This how the YAML view looks like:
