# Google Secret Manager

**Steps to be followed:**

1. Login to your GCP console 
2. [Create a Service Account](https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/creating-managing-service-accounts)  with the  **following permissions** listed below
3. [Generate a Service Key](https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/creating-managing-service-account-keys)  mapped to the Service Account 
4. Upload the Service Key to save the Google Secret Manager instance as a provider <br>
