# Jira

**Steps to be followed:**

1\) Log in to your Jira instance.\
2\) Navigate to your user avatar (top right corner) and click "Profile."\
3\) In the left-hand menu, click on "Manage your account."\
4\) Under "Security Settings," click on ["API tokens."](https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/using-personal-access-tokens-1026032365.html)\
5\) Click "Create API token" and provide a label for your token.
