Steps to be followed:

1) Log in to your Jira instance. 2) Navigate to your user avatar (top right corner) and click "Profile." 3) In the left-hand menu, click on "Manage your account." 4) Under "Security Settings," click on "API tokens." 5) Click "Create API token" and provide a label for your token.
